  • Dawbarn Education Award

The Community Foundation invites you or your child to nominate someone from the public school districts in Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro for a Dawbarn Education Award. The Foundation will select ten recipients, each of whom will receive a $10,000 award.  Nominations must be completed online at by December 20.  Along with exceptional teachers, the Foundation has also selected guidance counselors, coaches, secretaries, custodians, volunteers, bus drivers, and others who routinely go above and beyond what we expect of them in order to make a difference in the lives of students.  For more information, please visit, or call the Community Foundation at 540-213-2150.
