Making a difference in the future, one student at a time

  • School Board Meeting

The School Board will convene for its regular monthly business meeting on May 10, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.

The regular business meeting will be held in the Rita S. Wilson Council Chambers on the 1st Floor of City Hall, 116 W. Beverley Street, Staunton.

In keeping with safety guidelines for in-person attendance at public meetings held in City Hall, entry will be restricted to the side entrance on Central Avenue.  All persons entering will be subject to a temperature screening and must wear a face covering and practice 6-foot physical distancing while inside the building.  Only limited seating will be available to the public.

As an alternative to in-person attendance, members of the public are encouraged to listen online through the division website (click here) or on the local cable channel, SCS-TV13.  (Audio is available only when the meeting is hosted from the Rita S. Wilson Council Chambers at City Hall.)

Persons with hearing loss or impairment who desire to attend a School Board meeting in person may request an interpreter by contacting Brenda Lovekamp, Clerk of the Board (blovekam@staunton.12.va.us) at least two (2) business days prior to the meeting.
