    2020 Census2020 Census

    When you shape education, you shape our future.


    Respond to the 2020 Census and inform funding for educational programs that benefit our children, like after-school activities, school meal programs, and Head Start.  It's more than just a count, it's an opportunity to shape the next generation.

Staunton High School Announcements

    1. Due to ongoing health & safety concerns, the Senior-Senior Prom at The Legacy that was supposed to be tomorrow has been postponed. Another date hasn’t been chosen. More details to come later! Stay tuned!


    1. Attention All Students: The Staunton’s Got Talent Competition is April 2nd at 7PM. The deadline to sign up is this Friday March 13th. Please see Mr. Davis in Room #107 if you need more information or still need to sign up!! Go Storm!!


    1. Make plans now to attend Storm Theatre’s big Spring musical. Footloose!!! This weekend, Friday Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are available now for a reduced rate of $7.00 during all 3 lunches. Tickets at the door will be $10. Come support your peers and cut Footloose!!!


    1. Attention Seniors!! Jostens will be here today Thursday March 12th during lunches to deliver your caps and gowns. You will need to pick these items up today during lunches. If you are not able to pick up, you can have a parent to do so or you can send a signed note by a friend to pick up your items. No items will be left at the school. If you still need to purchase a cap and gown unit they will have select sizes available for purchase for $48 Cash or money order only. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Knoxville in room #103.


    1. Cinderella Project…Students who are in need of formal wear for Prom please see your school counselor so they can get you resources for the Cinderella Project!!


    1. The Junior Class is having a Burger Night at The Shack in Staunton on Monday March 23rd from 5:00PM until sold out. Burgers & fries for $10… sodas are $2.00. Cash Only & TO GO ONLY This fundraiser is to help raise money for prom.


    1. Attention Football players……After School weight training will resume this week and will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:30PM.


    1. Seniors, it’s time to apply for scholarships!! The Counseling Center is hosting lunch Scholarship Workshops Tuesdays and Thursdays every week.


    1. Seniors planning to attend Blue Ridge Community College next year can visit their website for scholarships. If you need help please see Mr. Peters in guidance. Please take advantage of these opportunities.
