• Student Expectations

    1. Students will be respectful and courteous to themselves, their teacher(s), their classmates, and the learning environment.

    2. Students will attend class regularly and be on time and prepared.  They will participate actively and meaningfully in classroom activites.

    3. Students will complete all assignments to the best of their ability and reach out for assistance when needed.  Assignments marked "independent" will be completed independently on every occasion.

    4. Students will take ownership of their learning and communicate with their teacher(s).  Students will review the feedback provided to them and conference periodically with their teacher(s) regarding that feedback.

    5. Students will maintain an organizational system to keep track of projects, assignments, conferences, class meeting times, and teacher office hours.  If struggling with organization, students will reach out to their teacher(s) for assistance.

    6. Students will check email, PowerSchool, and Google Classroom regularly.  They will submit work in the appropriate location on time.

    7. Students will use technology in appropriate ways and follow the SCS Acceptable Use policy at all times.  When experiencing a technology issue, students will fill out the appropriate form as soon as possible.

    8. On Zoom, students will dress appropriately, keep their video on, mute their microphone, speak clearly, make eye contact, and use the chat feature only with the whole class.
