Let me tell you a little about myself. I started my teaching career at Kate Collins Middle School (KCMS). I have a wonderful and supportive family.  My wife (Angela) and I have a daughter (Christina) and two sons (Christopher and DaJuan) and one grandson (Nyseer).

Having completed my undergraduate degree in Business Management from Emory & Henry College in 1993, I spent thirteen years in the youth development profession with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and four years as a financial representative with Modern Woodmen of America before pursuing a career in education. I received my Masters of Education degree from James Madison University in 2016.

The position of Assistant Principal is one that has afforded me an opportunity to utilize my leadership abilities in a progressive learning and evolving community such as SHS. I am able to continue the fine work of others while supporting our students and ensuring success for ALL. While I will always be an educator and a life-long learner, the opportunity to serve as an administrator has allowed me to continue assisting teachers, students, and their parents/ guaridians in meeting both student's academic and social needs.
