  • Health & Safety Update 2/27/2022

Effective February 25, 2022, the CDC does not require masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs.  Even though masks are now optional, SCS is encouraging everyone to continue to wear them while we remain in an area of high transmission.

As a reminder, Staunton City Schools used CARES Act funding install HEPA filters in every SCS bus in October, 2020.  These filters work to trap and reduce airborne contaminants so that they do not circulate through the bus.
