    DRAMA

    1. Staunton Storm Theater is traveling for competition to Stuarts Draft High School Saturday, Ocotber 19, 2019!! The competition is at 2:15PM. Come and support the show!!   BREAK A LEG Staunton Storm Theater!!

     

    SPORTS

    1. The SCS Miles for Meals 5K race is coming up on Friday, October 25th at Gypsy Hill Park. Transportation to the race will be provided. Participants are invited to wear minimal costumes; school dress code applies. Please visit the SCS website for more information and to register for this free event.

     

    1. Congratulations to JV Volleyball for their 2-1 victory over Buffalo Gap HS last night.

     

    1. Congratulations to Varsity Volleyball for their 3-0 sweep of Buffalo Gap last night.

     

    1. Boys’ varsity soccer team will start having Open Gym on Monday, Oct 28, every Mondays & Wednesdays, at Bessie Weller Gym from 5:30-7:00 PM. If you are trying out this spring for the Varsity Soccer Team you should be attending these sessions; unless you are participating in winter sports. Everyone should have a valid physical before participation.

     

    EDUCATIONAL/CAREER:

    1. Seniors, please see Mr. Peters ASAP to get a permission form to tour Blue Ridge Community College. The tour will be at the end of this month with limited seats available.

     

    1. College Application Workshop - Juniors & Seniors, please join the Counseling Center on Thursday October 24th for a college application workshop at 6:30PM in the Library. We will also discuss FAFSA and other financial aid opportunities.

     

    IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

    1. Students taking AP Exams, you need to pay your first payment of $40.00 per AP exam to Ms. VanFossen in the counseling center by November 1st in order to take the AP exams in May. See Ms. Hahn if you have questions.

     

    1. Attention Seniors!!! Jostens will be here today Friday October 18th during both lunches to take cap and gown orders!! If you have not yet ordered your cap and gown do so now!! It will save you stress and money. If you have any questions’, please see Ms. Knoxville in room 103.
