    Hi, I am Cherice Davis-Instructional Assistant SPED. I have been with SCS 4-years. Youngest of 6 kids. I am an Art Enthusiast. I am a proud graduate of a HBCU (historically black college or university) “Virginia State University “ in Petersburg VA, where I earned a B.F.A in Visual Arts and Communication. Taught youth pre-k thru school age for over 15 years in various capacities and roles ..as teacher, Director and currently IA. I have a daughter in Middle School-who enjoys art, drama and soccer. I thoroughly enjoy books and quiet time..nothing really compares!! Favorite books include -Metaphysics, Sci-Fi, African American history and Fiction, Arts & Crafts and Art Education, Angel books/History of Angels, Reiki and Crystal therapy, Zodiac books & books about the universe.

    Favorites:

    Colors: Turquoise, Rose Gold and Gray

     Seasons: Fall and Spring 

     Drinks: Fiji, Flavored water and Matcha green tea mixes

     Snacks: (sweet) Brownie brittle or (salty) chips

     Books: “A Wrinkle in Time” and “The People Could Fly”

    Things to do when Bored: Take long walks or writing in a journal.  

    Social things to do: Going out to eat or to a Movie theatre 

    Candy: Sweet-tarts or jolly ranchers 

    Movies:” Love Jones”, “The Notebook “, “Waiting to Exhale”, “A beautiful Mind” and any scary movies or documentaries.
