“It takes many pieces of a puzzle to make learning in the classroom meaningful and successful for each of our children!”  Every child enters a classroom offering many dynamic traits and unique qualities and characteristics making learning from each other possible; a vital necessity in making a complete classroom puzzle.   I am Melissa Allen and I have been a preschool teacher for 19+ years!  Believing that educating our youngest learners is the key to overall school success, I obtained a BA in liberal arts, with a concentration in psychology and early education from Mary Baldwin College. I love and enjoy my family, the outdoors, rescue/horses, travel, and taking our Labrador, “Alice” on long car rides!  The season of fall, warm colors, the smell of fresh cut hay, horse barns, and freshly brewed coffee are my favorite scents!
