A little bit of background about myself........

My career at Bessie Weller started in the summer of 2011 when I was currently unemployed and decided that I was tired of enjoying summer so I started volunteering in the office.  After a few months I became a substitute teacher which lasted through the 2011-12 school year. In the beginning of the 2012-13 school year I was hired as a full time Instructional Assistant.  I was in the travel industry for 11 years and I definitely believe that I was called to the wrong profession out of high school. I never imagined working with students but I wouldn't trade it for the world.  I LOVE to watch these children learn and grow but I think the best moments are when you see their little light bulbs go off!!  They truly amaze me everyday in their own little unique ways!!  I am proud to say..... I AM A BESSIE BEE!!
