Architect Presents Plans for Renovated High School

new classroom wing Architect Josh Bower of Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates in Charlottesville unveiled plans for a renovated high school at the School Board’s meeting on Nov. 12.


The modernized school, which will feature more than 100,000 square feet of new construction, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2020.


The project is scheduled to go out for bid in the spring, between March and April of 2019, and groundbreaking on the new classroom wing of the school is planned for late spring or early summer.


The architecture firm is still working with the school division to finalize the design of the building, which is scheduled to be completed in the next couple of months.
